I’ve been passionate about cars and racing for as long as I can remember, and that passion eventually led me to build Courage Motorsport. For me, racing has always been about more than lap times — it’s about preparation, teamwork, problem solving, and the people you share the paddock with. I enjoy the challenge of endurance racing because it rewards consistency, communication, mechanical sympathy, and taking care of the car as much as outright speed. I’m the kind of driver who wants to contribute to the whole program, whether that means driving a clean stint, helping diagnose or repair an issue in the paddock, reviewing data, or supporting teammates throughout the weekend. I’m based in the Washington, DC area (Northern Virginia) and I'm willing to travel for the right driving opportunities with organized, well-prepared teams that take the racing seriously while still enjoying the experience.

I’m a Michigan-based driver with a background that spans quarter midgets, sim racing, and real-world track experience. I started racing at eight years old in USAC quarter midgets before stepping away from the sport due to financial limitations. Over the years, I stayed involved through sim racing, where I’ve spent more than a decade competing at a very high level while continuing to develop as a driver. I am also a recent mechanical engineering graduate and work as an applications engineer, a role that puts me on a test track, behind the wheel of vehicles on the daily. I’ve gotten to push the limits of nimble FWD cars, 500+ hp V8’s, and 1000+ hp EV’s. My experience has been very sporadic throughout the years, but I am very confident in both my ability and racecraft. I’m seeking an environment where I can earn seat time and develop as a driver. I’d love to go short track racing in a stock car, but I’m open to driving anything with wheels!

I’m Thomas Gunn, an endurance racing driver and team owner with experience competing in events across the country in both American Endurance Racing and ChampCar Endurance Series. Over the last few seasons I’ve raced at tracks including Watkins Glen International, Virginia International Raceway, Road Atlanta, and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. I own and help run our grassroots race team, which means I’m involved in every part of the program — driving, race prep, strategy, late-night repairs, and everything in between. A huge part of what I enjoy about racing is the work that happens behind the scenes with my family and crew to keep our cars competitive and on track. Outside of racing, I’ve completed 10+ HPDE days and work as an instructor with Audi Club North America. I’m always looking to keep learning as a driver, improve our program, and continue building relationships within the racing community.
